Las Carretas

Yo readers. =) Started off my day yesterday as usual, going to church being a saint. =)
But yesterday's worship service was extraordinary. Because we had an all-male worship team leading in worship since it was Mother's Day. Awww! And guess what...?

Surprise..surprise!!!

Let me introduce to you, the oldest back up singer in Cross Power Tabernacle history. My father! He's standing at the left side. Sorry the picture's blur.

Okay, after that not much to blog about. Went for guitar class, had lunch, went home, napped.

I was then awoken by the loud voice of my mom.

'Oi! Time to wake up and shower. We're going out soon.'

The initial plan was to go to TGIF since it was Sarah's birthday as well as Mother's Day. So Sarah wanted that place. But the man of the house said No. Wah, so man! *rolls eyes* Talk about ego. He then decided to bring us to ....

Las Carretas at Taipan, USJ.

He wanted to try something 'different' so okay lor, since he's paying the bill, what could we say?

We were welcomed by a plate of nachos! hehehe.

Then of course must pose a bit with the birthday girl while waiting for our food.

This restaurant has a really nice ambience. The one thing that caught my eyes was this chandelier-like thing made of liquor bottles. So cute!

Hehee. Food still hasn't arrived so we did the usual while waiting.

My order! It's called the Chimichanga. It's actually a crisp fried tortilla bursting with plenty of cheese, minced chicken, topped with enchilada sauce, guacamole and sour cream.

Fiona's serving which was not filling enough for her. Hahaha..It's called Filete De Pescado. It's seasoned with a unique blend of seasoning and broiled to it's perfection. Served with baked potato, salsa, Mexican rice, beans.

Sarah's one which was also the most expensive. Prawn Fajitas. Basically, it's prawns served on a sizzling hot skillet with sautéed onions, capsicums, complimented with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, cheese, baked potato, and warm flour tortilla.

The pictures may look tempting but trust me, it's not all that good. For a moment, I felt like I was in a high class mamak stall because the food tasted just like that. Maybe Mexican food is just not my cup of milo tea.

If you're also wondering how did I manage to describe the food with such precision, well, it's because I copy and pasted from the Las Carretas website. Hahahaha.

But apart from that, their service was good. Friendly bunch of waiters. =)

The family. Pretending to be contented. =)

The birthday girl, Sarah. Just turned 14 years old and already so fatt hao.

Here's a better pic. More decent and sweet lookin'. =)

Last but not least, mummy dearest!

Happy Momma's day!

Mi madre es muy caliente! [Must read with Spanish accent!]

Who can guess what that means?

It means...

My mother is sizzling hot!

HAHAHAHAHA. I Googled that up. Chun leh? =)

New Skin

I'm gonna start this post by imitating the bimbo bloggers I use to read whenever they change their blog skin. *coughnatcoughsueverncough*

OMG I HAVE A NEW BLOG SKIN! How do you like it y'all? *squeals in delight*

Moving on, I have decided to change the blog skin cos my sister said the previous one was too dull and boring.

Okay, so obviously must officiate this blog with a new post in tribute to the new skin. ahaha.

Last Sunday evening was the day I actively moved my limbs and muscles again after a loonnngg 1 month plus. All I ever did when I was in my hibernating mode was to eat, sleep, shit, repeat. Totally spells out u-n-f-i-t. Proves how unhealthy I am, right?

So I exercised. Not by doing cheerleading, since I'm 'banned' from going to practices. Won't elaborate on that again or else it will make me feel like jumping off a building to get the feeling of flying and falling my dog just died. Not that I actually own a dog. Or used to.

Guess what I did when you hear me saying I exercised? *grins*

[To the perverted ones out there, *Marcus* NO, it's not what you think it is. Go wash your brain. Cos it's too filthy=p]

I played tennis! Let me hear you say fu-yoh! This chick doesn't only do cheerleading but plays tennis as well! LOL.
Well, at least attempted to play la. Cos I suck at it. And playing with another sucky opponent makes the game even more 'interesting'. Because we get so much fun by running after the balls [tennis balls, idiots!] and picking them up after many unsuccesful hits. Trust me, it's fun! Get to sweat like a pig, thus burning off the lemaks. hahaha.

This is just warming up okay. So still look a bit noob.

But still not as noob as her. =)

The other sucky opponent I was talking about.

At this point, I was becoming a pro already.Muahahaha! Pictures can be deceiving. Hehehe..

Yup, so that's it for today.

P.S Ooh! I watched Spiderman3! It's pretty good though TobeyMcguire is kinda on the chubby side now =( But there was still the Goblin/Harry to look at. Not sure what is his real name.
P.P.S Comments are most welcome! I'm a commentholic! [Not that I get a lot of it thanks to you stingy readers! haha. No, don't hate me. Stay! =)] It's actually because I wanna know who my readers are! And so, I'll know how to control my decency when I blog. Lol. Cos I always get a surprise when some friends who I don't expect to find/read my blog tell me they read it.

Channel 76.

So, first up, exam's finally over. Yay!
But there's not much reason to rejoice because I think I didn't do too well.
Let bygones be bygones, eh? hehe. Let's not talk about it. The word stress just appears each time I talk about studies. And my hair turns grey.

Anyways, there's this new channel in Astro. Channel 76. I'm so elated. Since when has Astro become such a genius? Channel 76 has all the entertainment news about the Hollywood celebrities for those of you who still don't know. Ha! Outdated. =p

At first Dad was the one who started watching that channel and 'introduced' it to us, but when my sisters and I got kinda hooked to it, he was saying that this channel's not good la, this and that.

'You all shouldn't watch this channel. They're like glamorizing all the Hollywood sins you know.'
*thinks to self* Whatever. *continues watching*

Was what he said worth pondering?

Maybe.

NOT.

It's just tee-vee. Television is the source of entertainment. That's what it does, entertain us. Duh.

I don't think we're that capable to indulge in these glamarous Hollywood 'sins' even if we want to, being a nobody. Unless someone big spots us and we strike it lucky to be a somebody.

Did that line remind you of the Shark Tale movie? Heh.

Or unless you become that somebody's mistress la. That also you must have the looks first then only can talk. Lol. Shit, I'm crappin'.

Don't mind me. This is what you get when boredom strikes. =)

Exams.

Exams. The period of time which is dreaded most by all students. And maybe a few teachers. Those who are lazy to set the paper and mark them, that is.

This blogger here has been busy studying for her exams and thus the lack of updates..

[haha. you believed me?]

But it's true! I'll show you.

See? My stressed face. Scared you, didn't I? [This pic was taken by my younger sister who's always disturbing me when I TRY to study. And I always give in by replying her stupid questions. I'm so easily distracted man. Btw, happy or not can see my Harry Potter specs? AHAHA.]

I know what all of you must be thinking now.

HOW ON EARTH IS SHE GONNA READ WITH HER HAIR COVERING HER EYES?!

Actually can you know, I can read through my thin and fine hair.

If you believed me again, you better go get some common sense.

Argh! Another few more days till the torture is over. After that can go out and have some fun. woohoo. [Study la! Think STPM over already ar? *XinMin's line*]

You better don't let me catch you going out =p

Gotta get back to my HarryPotter specs and bury my face in my books. Tata.

P/S: Sorry for boring you guys with my mundane life. Welcome to the life of a FormSixer. Or maybe it's just me. Can any of my FormSix friends tell me if they feel the same way too?

Fiona Fiona.

Went to Summit today with my older sister.
She's such a devil in disguise. Cos she wanted to con me. Said she has a free ticket so if we go both watch together, she'll get the free one while I pay for the other. Then I said we both must divide the other ticket then only I'll follow her. I won. =)
Watched The Reaping.
Guess how many humans were actually in the cinema?
8!!! Damn syiok right? If we were watching Jangan Pandang Belakang it would have been even better! Cos the atmosphere is just right. =)
Too bad I was with her, and not with my bf. [If I had one, that is]
Cos the rest were couples. Hahaha.

Okay, this post is lame.

Anyways, I just got the party pictures courtesy of Kelvin. He was the generous photographer who sacrificed his time to attend my sister's 21st bday celebration without charging a single cent. =)
One thing about these professional photographers is that they take bad pictures of you and call it natural. Hmph. OR maybe the problem lies in me. I take bad natural pics. Yeah, that makes sense.

So, to sum up everything about the party, let me just show you the pictures taken that night. It was held at the Sunway Lagoon club btw.

Charlie's Paul's Angels. [hahaha geddit? omg lame.]

Family picture!

The cake which weighed 3kgs!

Hahaha..I'm sure it tasted good. Right, Fiona?

Bet you secretly enjoyed it despite saying NOO!=)

Actually there are a lot more of pictures but it's taking too long to upload so I'm really tired of waiting.

You see the picture where she was thrown into the pool? Yeah, my initial plan was to throw her into the pool FIRST, then smash her with whip cream all over. Somehow, it all went the other way round so it was whip cream first. Then, when she was in the pool, I panicked cos the whip cream was floating in the water, which meant we dirtied their pool.

My dad also said that we were gonna have to pay RM300 to clean up their pool. At first, we really bought it and felt soooo bad about it. Then we came to realize that he was just pulling our legs.

My maid also told us that the worker there told her that the club has just cleaned their pool that morning itself cos they had a party as well on the previous night and those people did the same thing by throwing somebody into the pool.

I thought they are suppose to clean the pool everyday? Hmm.

Anyway, the manager of the club came down and clearly she wasn't very pleased. [Whoops!] And also some of the adults there. [Double whoops!] But the rest were really sporting cos they were laughing along with us.

All in all, I'm just SO glad and thankful that our actions didn't cause them to put that EXTRA money into the bill. =) =)

Run for cover.

I had a very interesting day at school today.
Wanna know why? Obviously it was not because I learnt something new at school.

Get ready for this...

My school was...

on FIRE! like literally!

In my whole entire life of my schooling years, never have I encountered such an incident before.
It was about 10.30am when it happened. I was at the SAL room. (which stands for Self Access Learning, for you fools who are wondering what does it stand for. hehe, kiddin..)
The bell rang. Most of us thought it was a fire drill so we didn't really bother much. [Some even thought it was recess. joker. *ahem*zhangziyi*ahem* helloo?the bell for recess won't ring so long=)]
Then everybody was running helter-skelter. It was only then did I realize that this was not a drill. You can actually see black smoke coming out from the room. It was at the store room on the same floor and row as my class!
We were then directed to go downstairs and our assistant headmistress's [Pn Chong] voice could be heard booming over the speakers telling us to go near the hall instead. She was seriously panicking. Could hear it in her voice. And she was like 'Mr Selvaaaaa! Where are you??' [Cos he's the one in charge of this fire drill thing if it were to happen]

Several minutes later, the sirens of the fire engine truck were blaring from afar. Then all these jakun students suddenly cheered for no apparent reason. Take out hose, cheer. Spray water, cheer. Keep hose, cheer. I know la, those firemen were like super heroes to you all, but no need to act so jakun.

It was funny, in a way. Cos Pn Chong kept saying things like 'Murid-murid, jangan pergi ke tempat itu ya. Tempat itu tempat larangan. Jika kamu semua pergi dan didapati tapak kaki kamu di sana, kamu akan dimasuki penjara.' [She thinks she's in CSI]

Bet you all are wondering how did the fire start. Well, it was rumoured that somebody smoked and threw the cigarette inside that room and in that room, lies many bottles of thinner. So there you have it my friends. Such a genius he is. *I meant it in a sarcastic way for those of you who didn't get my sarcasm* [obviously a HE, can't be a SHE] According to some, this whole fire incident was planned. I really don't know.

I just hope that idiot gets caught.

Then again, without this idiot, there wouldn't have been so much drama happening.

Now tell me, how many of you have actually seen your school on fire? =)

Question of the day

Why is it when somebody asks me to do something which I am 'pai seh', in other words, shy to do so, they will all give me the same reply...

'Huh? YOU shy meh??!?! Sure or not?? hahaha....'

I don't know about you all but I somehow feel quite insulted when they say that. Cos it makes me sound like I tak tau malu. Hmph.

Eh, why la?? I don't look or act shy enough is it? >=(

Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, "It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."

Emo-ness

I've never really tried writing an emo post before but I'll do it anyway.
Don't laugh if it doesn't come out as emo as it's supposed to be okay.
Well, anyways, I am just feeling reallllyyyy frustrated right now.
Why??
Cos I just had a tiny argument with my parents about letting me go out.
I tell you, they're like the most strict parents you have ever met/knew. Whatever.
I wanted to go out for a movie at OU so yeah, made arrangements and everything..
Then suddenly, this sister of mine who can't mind her own business starts placing her big fat butt into mine and goes all hoo-haa about me going out.
Her: Tell me where you going to.
Me: Why? Out lar.
Her: Where la?
Me: OU
Her: HUH?! So far???! You have school tomorrow you know. Does papa know about this? [Calls dad at the top of her lungs] Papppaaaaaa! You know Florence is going to OU!! [Makes a big fuss out of it, acts like a 'caring' sister] You know you have school tomorrowwww? [Goes on talking about why I shouldn't go out]

Dad the man comes out of his room and asks where am I going.
Told him I'm going out. He asked what for. I said for a movie. Then he goes nagging and mom who was downstairs joins in the rhythm to the nagging.
So I had to cancel my plans. Greattt. Damn potong okay. Grr.

And I can't stand it when they always use STPM to threaten me. [Sitting for the STPM is not my option if you still don't know] Like, 'you're gonna sit for your STPM this year! And you're not ready.' Bla bla. My opinion is that they just wanna see my face at home! I'm serious. They don't even bother if I'm taking out my books to read or not. Look what am I doing? Blogging.. See? They just need to know that I'm HOME. Pathetic.

Plus, they've restricted me from going to my cheer practices ever since the competition ended. Sigh. Why oh whyyyyy!!?

I hate my current situation now. Argh. Oh, and it really 'helps' when all of them starts irritating you at the same moment. For instance, today after church, while in the car going home, they ['they' here meaning the FEMALES {super farn!popek non-stop!} in my family, I was okay with dad] mentioned something damn irritating which isn't worth being remembered so I forgot what was it about lar. Then I replied back with something which they claimed was rude. But hey, can't help it if it seemed damn annoying at that moment!
You get me? Have you ever been in a situation like mine before? You know, where you just felt like what all of them were saying were totally nonsense and not forgetting their voices seemed like FLIES buzzing around your ears and all you wanted was for them to shut their smelly mouth up?

My big fat ass sister just peeked at what I'm typing now. Can't she just wait to read about how freakishly annoying she can be?

Okay, end of post. There you go. Done.

For the loser.

Well, as you can see at the chatbox, some loser is just longing for me to blog=)
Hehe..

Okay, update update.

Basically, there really isn't anything much to say.

Oh wait.

Maybe there is.

Well, I was having this conversation with FH in class.

Me: Eh, the other day Celebrity Fitness called me up again to tell me about the 1week free pass thing.
FH: Uh-huh
Me: Then because I was sleeping, my voice sounded very gruff. So she asked if i'm okay. [hahaha] And I said yes. Then she continued with her explaining of why she's calling me. So I said 'er, no I'm not interested in joining'. Then the lady won't stop bothering me and said 'nobody's asking you to join, dear..you can just come here and bla bla bla'..[Is it me or is it her being all lesbian-ish? Eew. Maybe it was me since I was still half-asleep answering that call] So I just casually said er sorry not free. No time. And she said 'okthanksbye' in a really flat tone.

Then we were talking about which gym fitness centre is the best and both agreed that True Fitness is the nicest. And I was complaining about how some people get abs and pecs so easily.

FH: Eh you know ar, the other time when I went to True Fitness to work out I saw this like 60 year old grandma having six pecs cos she was baring her midriff.. I was like omg.
You should kill yourself wei. Train so long already still like that.
Me: ...

Because I wasn't there with him when he saw that hawt grandma, I got nothing much to comment la. [Cos he might be exaggerating just to bring down my self esteem! haha..]
As they say, seeing is believing, right? Assuming I did see her and her oh-so-hawt body, I would definitely go up to her and her how did she do it.
Then again, maybe not.

I'll just stare at her kao kao with my jaws wide open like a fool.

If it was you, I bet you'll do the same. How often do you see a hawt ah ma?

Okay, next topic.
Let me remind all you readers again.
Please come to Cineleisure Damansara this Sunday at 2pm! It'll be the bomb I tell you! =)
But seriously, Cineleisure is like the happening place for local celebrities. My cheermates and I have seen quite a number of famous faces walking around that place during our pre-events which we had earlier. [Some of them even bought the marshmallows from us!]
To name a few, we've seen AdamC, the ex 3R host, Marion Caunter, JoeyG, Cheryl Samad, Rina Omar and more la. Can't remember.
So do come drop by and support us! We'll be having lucky draws and winners will get a bottle of Clinique perfume! Awesome stuff right?
Bottom line, just get your arse over la. Don't be so lazy please. *eh look who's talking*=)

Alrighty, guess this should be enough to satisfy my readers. Muahaha..
Time to work out and get those abs man! [I'm actually gonna take a nap now and sleep like a pig]

Cheers! =)

A lil somethin' to make you laugh.

Hey all. Got this joke from an e-mail and found it funny so decided to share with you guys. Here goes:

An elderly couple walk into a fast food restaurant. They order one hamburger, one french fries and one drink.
The old man unwraps the plain hamburger and carefully cuts it in half. He places one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counts out the fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placing one pile in front of his wife. He takes a sip of the drink, his wife takes a sip and then sets the cup down between them. As he begins to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them keep looking over and whispering "That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them."
As the man begins to eat his fries a young man comes to the table. He politely offers to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man replies that they're just fine - they're just used to sharing everything.
The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sits there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.
Again the young man comes over and begs them to let him buy another meal for them.
This time the old woman says "No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything."
As the old man finishes and wipes his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again comes over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asks "May I ask what is it you are waiting for?"

The old woman answers... "THE TEETH."

Hehehehhe..funny right? I think it's quite funny.

Btw, last night was the first ever night in my entire life I stayed up without sleeping AND taking my afternoon nap! Which means that yesterday Friday, I was up at 6.25am for school and yada yada then went to Steven's house to celebrate his bday then straight to tuition, then to Wern Sern's house to help him do the other side of his pom-poms, then back home to shower and have dinner, then went to Pyramid to wait for the bus...thought i would be able to sleep in the bus but then this ZhangZiyi wouldn't let me sleep cos she skipped school and woke up at 12pm instead so she was full of energy and resulted to disturbing me as well. What a friend. Heheh..
Actually she just disturbed me until 3am, then she was kacau-ed by *ahem*, her new found stalker/fan. So I went to kacau another friend and ended up talking nonsensical stuffs until we didn't realize that we have reached Johor.

So, there you have it my friends.. I'm so proud of my achievement for being able to stay up for so long. Never happen before okay. Fuiyo.

Coincidently, my friend Amanda asked if I would like to join her and other friends to Maison on the same night. Obviously I couldn't make it since I wasn't around. But even if I was around, I doubt I'll ever get to enter a club due to the stringent restrictions from my old folks.
And Amanda was supposedly to accompany me if we ever go to any clubs at all since we haven't been before. But..but she couldn't hold it any longer and left without me! Fan guat! Hahhaaa...
You're so evil la, leaving me all alone here in this lame 19 year old club who hasn't went clubbing before.

Okay, it's official la.
I'm quite lame. Why QUITE? Cos if I'm lame then my older sis is even lamer since she also hasn't stepped into a club before. And she's 2 years older than me. Hehe..
Feels better to think of it that way so I shall stick to thinking like this from now on. HAHAHA!

Holla.

A very big hello to all my dear fans friends. =)
How have you all been doing? Have you all been coming here often longing for an update?
Fret not, for I shall finally grant your desire...Hahahaa...

Well well, what have I been occupying myself with for past week, you ask?
My weekdays were as usual la, you know, school and tuitions. What else. As for my weekend, I spent most of my time at Cineleisure Damansara doing those pre-event stuff. Walking around selling marshies, lollies and others and putting up a fake smile [which the people actually can't tell] repeating the same question about whether or not are they willing to help us raise fund for our competition by buying some stuffs. Also, I was running around between applying make-up, taking care of the booth and practising for the performance. What a multi-tasker right? Lol. Actually, all of us [the cheerleaders] had to do the same as well la..

Yeah, basically that was about it. Let me show you how thick was the make-up which we had to put..

Fire bird- 24/02

The process

Egyptian Princess- 03/03

Lol. Lame names created by some of them. Super lame. I know you think the make-up's ugly. Shadap, it's artistic okay. =p

I liked Sunday best. Cos it was the most relaxing day since it was suppose to be the last day of our pre-event. I was conned by Marcus and Wei Sheng [the noobs of all noobs] to try lecka lecka. Hahaha..No la, actually I wanted to try it since I haven't tried it before. But I didn't really like it. Maybe cos I chose Oreo's la. [I know you're laughing, Marcus! It's not funny] They told me not to choose Oreo's but in the end I still ended up choosing that one. Seriously, even McDonald's Oreo's Mcflurry even nicer!!

Then after that the whole bunch of us went to catch a movie [Norbit] at Cathay Cineplex. So hilarious! Since it was my first time [Two 'first time' in a day! hahaa] watching a movie at Cathay, I'll rate it as 4/5 because the seats were really comfortable. =)

The tickets were as long as me! Hahahaa...

After the movie, we went to the ground floor to clear everything up before leaving for dinner/supper at Ming Tien..Everybody was an idiot for wanting to try the Super Spicy Taiwan Sausage! It was sooo spicy it left us with a burning sensation tongue and tears..

On another note, had some spot-check in school today. The bunch of prefects just appeared out of nowhere in front of my class. Then obviously I panicked and didn't know where to hide my phone. So FH came up with a genius idea and drank up all his water and I hid my phone inside the bottle. We were then asked to stand behind of the class while the prefects molested checked us. Then a noob prefect went through the sides of my baju kurung and suddenly stopped when she felt a bump.

"What's this?" she asked.

"My zip la." I answered.

Then she was like 'oh', feeling so embarrassed. Damn noob.

As if I haven't had enough of noobs to face, another one popped up. I saw the prefect taking out my soft toy keychain and needed another prefect to help him take out. And I was like, 'huh? cannot bring soft toy keychains to school meh!?' Then he was like, 'Can.. we're just fixing it..It came off..' Stupid. Handle with care la or not don't check!

Besides that, a few of my other classmates also brought their phones. Some of it which got confiscated, while some had their own genius way of hiding it too.

Classmate A was in a desperate state for fearing of losing her phone to the prefects till she hid her phone under her panty. She's damn pro wei, jumped twice for the prefect to check and yet her phone didn't fall. Respect.

Classmate B was making a joke outta it and wondered what will happen if her phone actually vibrated at that very moment?

Only God knows. Hehehe..=)

Weird?

I'm just so freakin annoyed now.
Everything just went wrong towards the very last minute. So I had to make multiple calls to get everything back in order. Hopefully it'll all flow smoothly again.
I was talking about the pre-event CHARM's having. You just won't understand the frustration getting bugged/nagged/scolded and making sure everything goes in order. Was even called stupid for taking up this 'responsibility'. Won't name names but GRR!
Almost exploded just now.
Credit was running low due to all the bugging I had to make. Reloaded twice with my own allowance! Argh!
But suddenly some sms beeped. Saying 'Yr reload of RM10.oo is successful.' Huh? I was blank when I read that. Must be from an angel sent from heaven above. Hahahaha..I mean seriously, this is like the THIRD time I've had free reloads. Uber cool. How many of you actually get free reloads without knowing who sent it to you? Must be some accidental top up. Hehe.. I'm not complaining nor am I bragging. It's just that this sms really came in at the right time. At least it chilled my temper.

Gotta rest my head from the headaches I'm getting.

Oh, and make sure you drop by Cineleisure this Fri, Sat & Sun! A lot of hard work have been poured upon to make this happen! =)

Edit: Okay, not so weird after all. Got another sms. It's from Kelvin. He said he topped up for me cos I need that for emergency calls. But I swear the previous two I received before was accidental. Hehe..

Lou Sang

Based on what I've read at a couple of blogs saying that the CNY mood is not really there, I'd have to say that I kinda agree with them.

Reasons I've came up with on what made CNY a not so joyous celebration as time passes by:
1. We've all grown up from all those childishness like playing pop-pops and those sparklers. Yeah, I played those pop-pops with my niece on the eve of CNY and found no fun playing it at all except for watching her laugh and enjoying herself.
2. Some of our relatives have drifted apart [eg. the ones who went over to NZ to study...I miss you guys!]..Not counting the ones who goes up to Genting annually and foregoing the chance to meet up with important ppl like me! Hehehe..My cousins should know who I'm referring to..Shh.
3. The government has banned fireworks which results to a quieter festive time. When I say quieter, it's like 10times quieter than usual. Where are all the boom-boom sounds like we used to hear every minute?
4. I don't go visiting that many houses anymore. Thus, lesser ang pows.
5. People are getting more 'kedekut'. Thus, smaller ang pows.

Whichever reasons they may be in your case [Which in my case is ALL of the above], I'm just hoping CNY won't stay like this in years to come.

Looking at the brighter side, I definitely still enjoy the holidays we're given. And the tidbits for you to munch on every millisecond. And reunion dinners with scrumptious traditional Chinese servings. And reasons to buy new clothes.

Okay, maybe CNY isn't THAT bad after all, right? =)

See? Get to lou sang some more! How often do you mix up your food without feeling disgusted since it's supposed to be eaten this way..?
Happy Chinese New Year to all readers!

=p Like as if I got plenty of readers. Syok sendiri.

Kids nowadays.

Walked the whole of Pyramid today. Spent like about 8 hours plus there and ended up buying only ONE dress. Cos the prices were either all too pricey or I didn't like the style. Parking ticket costed me 5bucks!
Something funny happened while I was lookin at the clothes.
A lil boy, prolly about 7-8 years old was standing near a mannequin. At first I didn't really notice him until FH called me to look at him. And then I looked closely at what he did.
He lifted up the mannequin's dress and was fondling with the *ahem* part, like poking here and there. Okay fine I thought, maybe he's just playing NOT in a dirty way since he's still so young. BUT! His hand then moved up to the boobies and he grabbed it with both his hands and started squeezing it!! LOL! That got me and FH laughing hysterically cos it was a damn uncommon thing to see. Shocking.
Where on earth did he learn that from man!?
He's a freakin perverted young kid, enough said.

V-day's finally over.

Yup. And now that that day is over, I can actually look forward to CNY!
Show me the monay, monay...Muahahaha...
To those who are 'opening' their houses, don't forget to invite me as well yeah! Heheh.
Gotta run now..Buhbye.

Edit: Went to Summit just now with my mom to see if can get any new clothes. Actually I suggested that we go to Pyramid at the first place, but she insisted that we go to Summit since it's nearer. So fine, I gave in. But then turn out I didn't get anything cos urgh! The clothes were super lala! Like ultimate lala-ness! Yuck.

Malaysia Boleh

Yeahhh! Joe Jer & Zab won the race! I knew they could do it! I had my faith in them from the very start of the race..I'm so happy I felt like I was the one who won instead. Tears of joy started pouring down my cheeks uncontrollably as soon as their foot landed on the pit-stop's mat..Hehehe...*squeals in delight* I can't believe the winner is an all-female team..! So, never underestimate us girls..girl power..!!HAAHAHA..!!!

There you have it, Nat..I was imitating you..bimbo. Since you want me to write something about you so badly.Lol. [Even though I know your actual fave team is Andrew&Syeon and I'm so happy they didn't win it..haha..]

On another note, it's that time of the month year again. Nope, not my period or whatsoever. Yeah lar, Valentines Day. Where couples get all SUPER lovey-dovey and singles just hide at the corner and beat their chest in loneliness/anger/depression wondering why-oh-why are they single ONLY at this time of the month year. Pathetic innit?

Ahhh..whatever. Just letting out my frustration. Cos my friend said that I'll have a list of guys waiting for me [eg. have to make appointment to date me] when in actual fact there are actually NONE. HAHAHA. Biggest joke of the century. Pfft.

I'm not feeling sad or anything la. Just alone.

Cheers. Happy Early Valentine's Nat! Here's to you!! LOL.

I know you like this pic. Hehehe..=)

Joke.

Hoho. Alright kids, today I'm gonna tell you all about a joke which I read somewhere sometime ago.
The story goes something like this:

There was this man who entered a slimming centre one fine day.
So the fella at the counter smiled and asked, 'Hi Sir! How may I help you?'
Man said: Um, can you explain to me what sort of packages you offer?
Fella: Well, we have the normal and the extreme package.

The man thought to himself and finally chose the normal package since it's his first time there and he wouldn't know what to expect so he decided to take things easy first..

Fella said: Very well Sir, please enter that room at the corner.

So the man walked over and as he entered the room, he saw a hawt, naked lady inside.
The lady then said, 'If you can catch me then you can do whatever you want to me.'

Obviously the man was drooling and by now he was getting all psyched up so he gathered all his energy and chased the lady round the room.

After chasing her for what seemed like eternity, he realized that 'wow this really works and he lost a total of 5kg!'...So worth it!

So the next day he returned again and was more than curious to know what was in the extreme package. Without hesitating, he then told the fella at the counter that he wanted the extreme one and was directed into another room...

As he entered the room, he was shocked!

Because...standing in front of him was a fat, naked man...

And this time the fat man spoke and said, 'This time it's my turn to chase you! You better run or else I'll do you!'

HAHAHHAHA geddit?! Even if you don't, just laugh la k! I had to translate it into English okay cos I read it in BM. Lol.

P/S: Seems like you all like reading about the poop! =)
Oh, and Happy Thaipusam!

Lazy blogger.

I am so lazy.
Actually, it's not that I'm THAT lazy to blog. It's just that I haven't got anything blog worthy to blog. Hehe..Not that everything I type makes sense though..
Well..In request of Soh Shan Yong [See?I mentioned your name!(Not like anybody knows you also..Hahahaa..)]for a new blog entry and to prove to him that I am NOT lazy, I shall grant him his wish!
He said to blog about what I did today, what I ate, what's the shape of my poop and my bathing procedure.
The questions sound boring eh? But since I have nothing to say, I'll just answer anyway.
What I did: Woke up at 6.25am to get ready for school. [I <3 school so much! If you believed that you better go wash your brain]..Came back before 1pm.
What I ate: Had ONE sausage for breakfast, nasi lemak & Oreo's [Not together of course!] for recess and noodles for lunch.
What's the shape of my poop: Hahahaa...I'd like to say they're small, roundish poop. But everybodys poop's the same la! LONG and er poop-like. Healthy shit okay.
Bathing procedure: You want me to describe in a sexy way or what? Hahaha..better not...Um, okay chin-chai way. Take off clothes, on the shower, apply soap and wash it off. [This is meant for those who doesn't know how to shower, thus asking a question like this]

By the way, I've no idea why I'm talking to SSY cos a couple of days ago he made me pissed due to his rudeness. I know he was joking, but still I can't stand rude people. Which eventually reminds me of SOMEBODY else. No use ranting about this here..

All I can say is, certain things [by things, I actually mean a human] may look really nice on the outside but if their inside stinks then it's really a big turn off!

Yeah, so here's the entry tribute to SSY. Not like he's dead la.

Yay.

I've got someone stalking my blog.
Guess who?
CHANG WERN SERN! (If you don't know him, well, erm, just call him a rempit. He likes it. Who wanna get introduced to a rempit contact me k.)
Hahahaha..Okay fine, maybe he doesn't stalk, but he admitted he likeS reading it. Whee. I get such great satisfaction when somebody tells me they like my blog. I feel so LOVED and APPRECIATED. It's like I can already imagine myself having this huge fan base. Lol. Kiddin'.

Anyways, I realized how my mood can change so easily. But I seriously don't think you call that moodswings, right? Cos moodswings are only when you're moody. I think. For instance, I was feeling really reluctant today to go for the cheerleading evaluation. My tummy was giving me a hard time, had a slight headache..Still, I had to go for it. Cos it was compulsory. I was such a nervous wreck. Oh, and I can never be calm when it comes to stuffs like this. Like my hands starts to shake and stuff. It's kinda embarrassing, really. Let me correct that, VERY embarrassing. I don't blame myself though. Cos I know it runs in the family. Dad's like that too. Haha. =)

The evaluation was held at PJ cos we had to accommodate the cheerleaders from the PJ area since they have been coming to Subang frequently last month. CW judged all of us alphabetically in order, backwards. That means it started from Z-A. To cut the long story short, everything went on smoothly, better than I expected. At least I didn't pass out. Hehe..
Practices have also been changed to twice a week, making it thrice including gym classes.

2 days ago (Wed), Karine & I had trouble getting to PJ cos of transportation problem. So, in the end I drove to her house, we took a bus, then a cab, followed by Jon being our driver for the day. =) The reason why I didn't drive all the way to PJ was cos the lack of trust from my mum. And also cos I didn't know the way. Yeah, I'm a noob when it comes to directions.
After the practice and our mamak session ended, Jon drove us back to Karine's house.
When he finally stopped in front of her house, I was like OMG how am I gonna go out.. It was merely impossible to move out from that spot. Also, knowing that the car I'm driving has NO power steering adds more difficulty for this weakling [ME] to get out. =(

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

See what I mean? So I started panicking cos dad was calling to ask where was I and I kept replying 'soon, soon' cos I still have school the next day (Yes, I'm still a schoolgirl. HAHA. *rolls eyes*) Then Karine went in to call her mom to move her car a bit to give me ample space to get out from there. Jeremy on the other hand was guiding me at the back so my car's butt won't kiss the other car. When SUDDENLY, this Jeremy didn't tell me that I sort of went over his foot while reversing. Or something like that. Then Jon came to the rescue and reversed and move forward repeatedly till the car was out. Please don't look at me in a different way. I AM still a very safe driver.

As quoted by CWS or SSY (I forgot who)- 'Florence's driving is like a roller-coaster ride.'

Two words for you. Yeah right. =)

P/S: Tell me you're impressed with my drawing. It's so hot. Like totally. Lol. And I like to draw my car bigger even though I am just driving a Kancil baby. Muahahaa..

Getting screwed over someone else's impunctuality pisses me off so badly! Grr.

2007 will be an 'awesome' year.

Yeah right. With the STPM coming up at the end of the year, how awesome can it actually be?
I still remember how I used to fuss and fret over this matter with my parents about entering Form Six. Amazingly, I have already gone through half a year being a Form Six student and will have another torturous year ahead of me.
Okay, this really isn't helping. I should really start thinking positive and telling myself how much I love going back to high school, lining up during assembly before we head back to our classes, and seeing my beloved teachers faces, not forgetting being yelled at when we are lazy and noisy.
Ugh. I have to give up cheerleading because of studies. No more staying up late at night to go online. Can it get any worse?!
Anyways, forget what I just said above.
My New Year resolution? Hmm..I shall start being 'kiasu' this whole year and compete with myself to achieve the grades I want. Hopefully.
Let's see if I can really keep what I said. =)
Ooh, and how I love the goosebumps I always get on the first day of school. It feels like going back to Standard One all over again. Rightttt.
I'll just pray all goes well tomorrow.
Dear Lord, please don't let anything embarrassing happen to me knowing how clumsy I can get. Thank You. Amen. =)

Merry Christmas!

25th December 2006.

The day Jesus Christ was born since ages ago. He's not that lil baby anymore now. He has resurrected from the grave and He's up there keeping an eye on us everyday.
Thank You Lord for the salvation and the price you paid for bearing my sins.

Once again, Merry Christmas to all of you! Let us remember the real reason why we're celebrating Christmas..=)

Bangkok. Totally awesome.

Woot! And so I'm back from Bangkok after 3days there. It was absolute fun, fun and more fun! The things there were extremely cheap, adding more fun to it when you get to test your haggling skills. I have to admit I'm not really good at it. [I'll tell you why at the end of the post] Nevertheless, the things I bought were at prices I was willing to pay. Ahh, the satisfaction one can get from all the shopping. =)

The day started when we had to get up really early cos our flight was at 7a.m. We departed from the LCCT. [Low Cost Carrier Terminal] Amazingly, my family wasn't the latest to arrive. Hehe. Super proud of it. Cos of the fact that almost everytime we're the last to arrive. The rest who came along with us are our relatives. That's a total of 17 altogether including me. Okay, that aside, we then proceeded to those getting our flight tickets, checking in luggages and passport checking thing.

We were transported by AirAsia. Cheap ma. =) It was my first time flying with AirAsia. My feedback about AirAsia would be just one word. SQUEEZY. Then again, the flight was only about an hour plus long so there isn't really much to complain about. BUT the food and drinks were so expensive! They were even selling their own souvenirs on the plane. LAME! Who would actually spend their cash on this?

Their expensive souvenirs. And that's May Vern my cousin wondering what am I doing.

F.Y.I, did you know that Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok actually has a time difference? Bangkok is one hour behind us. Don't start calling me dumb or whatsoever cos I asked my cousins about this and they didn't know it too. And don't start saying 'it' runs in the family. Whatever, at least I know it now. Lol.

So the first day we didn't actually do much. When we landed, we checked into a hotel called Ibis. 3star only but the room was quite nice. Only thing I didn't like about it is the location. So far away from all those shopping spots. Anyway, as soon as we put down our luggages in our rooms, we headed straight for lunch at Siam Central. Ate at some food court and you know those people working there who clear the tables? Yeah, they are so nice that they will help you carry your food to your table after you have ordered. I don't think you can find these kinda people here in Malaysia. Siam Central's toilets are superb. They keep it so clean unlike here and there's even a plasma TV inside!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Cousins and I having our lunch at the food court. I had beef tendon noodles!

We went to the Chao Praya River boat trip. A waste of time and the result you get is just you getting more tanned. I'd like to think of myself as tanned sexy and not dark tanned, thank you very much. Besides sight seeing those temples and 5star hotels by the river, we got to see old ang mohs with their escorts. Some even being escorted by their own kind, men. Ugh. The feeling of disgust just overwhelms me each time I think about it.

Us in front of our hotel.

3 blind mice..3 blind mice..See how they smile..

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Haha..I'm so dark you can barely see me =p

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The boat trip was quite a waste of time. Could have spent more time on shopping! [Explains why we were more interested in taking pics rather than looking around]

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Chinatown.

However, we did do a lil shopping at night at this place called Suan Lam Night Bazaar. The time which were given to us by my uncle was obviously insufficient so I ended up only buying one t-shirt. The rest of the time we were just walking and looking at stuffs. My cousins and sisters bought more though.

We got to most of our destinations by walking. Yeah, walking and also taking the MRT la. It's so tiring I tell you. When you try to walk and look at stuff and you're rushing for time, it's really not an easy thing to do. My feet was killing me on the first day. So on the 2nd day, I wore those Crocs I got from KennySia. Yeah, I can't believe I wore them out too. Lol. We spent almost the whole of our 2nd day at Chatuchak Market. That place is so freakin' huge man. But I enjoyed spending there the most cos it was nice to shop there la duh.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

We needed this chips to sensor the gate to get across in order to take the train. Jakunfied.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Suddenly acting like daddy's girl.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

That's mum trying to do pole dancing. Which she obviously failed.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

If you look closely at our eyes, we actually look like Ju-Ons.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Very semangated early in the morning cos we were going to Chatuchak Market.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

HOHOHO. My Crocs are pink!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Enjoying our strawberry and kiwi shakes on a hot day. Psssstt!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

These noodles taste so unique! It's actually nice. Costs only 20 baht[RM2]! But the portion was quite little. Or maybe cos I was hungry? And yes, the soup is pink in colour!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Retro is the in thang now. Lol.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Goodbye Bangkok...

Overall, the whole trip was fun. The thing which excites me is the fact that I saw a couple of stuffs with cheap prices you won't get to see here. But then the only thing I wasn't satisfied about was the lack of time we had. There are so many other things I wanted to get..

Oh, and about why I am NOT good at haggling: I was looking at some accessory [body glitter stuff la]at some stall and wanted to buy it. It was 30 baht. That means RM3. I don't know why I even attempted to haggle also since it's already so cheap. Probably because we were haggling each time we bought something so it sort of became a habit. Hehe..

Me: How much?

The seller: 30baht.

Me: 20 baht okay?

The seller: No, 30baht. Very cheap.

Me: No, 20 baht.

The seller: NO cannot, 30baht.

Me: Okay. Gimme one.

I am so good at this you should ask me how I do it know I suck at it. Haha....

More pictures!

Thursday-7/12/06

Started off with a SS-ing pic b4 leaving for the old folks home.

Worshipping with the old folks. They're really outgoing. =)

Ashley painting the old lady's nails orange. How cool is that!

We even had some games during the workshop at night.

Group pic!!!

Friday-8/12/06

I didn't bring the camera to the orphanage [Rumah Hope] because Fiona brought it to her workplace. But I'll try getting them soon from Jojo. The kids there are so cute I tell you. Some were so cute they started to annoy me at a point. Sheesh.Brodie and us. He made us do that. Seriously.

Eric and us. He's one shy dude.

I'll continue with Saturday and Sunday on the next post. Blogspot doesn't allow me to upload anymore pics =( Anyways, I am so gonna miss them when they go back to Aussie. Not like I'm very close to them but it's really fun having them around. Really. Pass me some tissues, please.

P/S: Aussie aussie aussie! Oi oi oi! =p

Awesome.

We finally got a chance to meet the people from Planetshakers. They're awesome and really friendly people.
Went to the old folks home in Damansara Perdana today. Had fun worshipping in Hokkien. Lol. I can now speak a few words of Hokkien. Hahaha..My Hainanese also havent 'kao tim' wanna try Hokkien pulak.
My sis, Fiona and I were talking in the kitchen while I was making myself a cup of Milo..Cos I was crazily singing the Hokkien song to myself.
Fio: I don't see you acting like that in front of them just now. [Them referring to the Planetshakers]
Me: Cos they can really make me noob ma. I don't know how to act.
These guai los have the ability to make me speechless. I'm always tongue-tied. It's either cos of my lack of confidence speaking to them or their charming good looks just stuns me. Hahaha..Life is not always about good looks. Okay, I know.
Gotta catch the re-run of The Amazing Race Asia since I was at church just now. After that, I'm just gonna throw myself onto the bed and relax myself after the oh-so-tiring day.

Pictures will be up soon! Even if you don't wanna see my face, haha..too bad!

Superman.

Hey everyone.
If you realized, the title of my previous entry was Mr Incredible. And now it's Superman.
Nah, it's not that I've fallen in love with superheroes la. They're just very entertaining to watch cos it makes you wonder about a lot of things.

Things such as:-
1. Why can't anyone notice that Clark Kent IS Superman? Doesn't take a genius to figure that out, does it?
2. Why did Superman find out that he actually has a son only at the last part? [Has he forgotten what he did to Lois Lane?]
3. Can he breathe in that TIGHT suit?
4. How come his hair stays so neat after all those saving the world action?

Anyways, a few days ago, I went to the cinema with my friend wanting to watch Happy Feet. Turned out that the tickets were sold out. But I insisted that we still catch another movie since we were already there. So we ended up buying tickets for a movie we had no idea what was it about. The title was 'Waiting'.
When we entered the cinema, there were very few humans inside.
So I was like, 'Er, if this movie is not good ur gonna get it.' Since SY was the one who chose it. I even asked if he was sure it was in English and that made him panicked a bit. Haha.
Then it started and familiar faces like Anna Faris and Justin Long appeared on the big screen. Ok la, maybe it wont be too bad after all.
In conclusion, this show quite 'fai'/crappy. Crappy not as in lousy but crappy crappy. Hehe..It's about this restaurant called Shenanigan with teens working there. So, they came up with a game to do with penises. Like some guy has to show his batang when nobody is aware and when somebody accidentally looks at it, he gets kick in the arse and is called gay. Different positions rewards you with different amount of kicks. It's quite funny la. And disgusting...Cos there was this really fussy lady fussing over her meals and the rest is history. You won't wanna know what they did to her plate behind in the kitchen. Eeeww. Makes me wonder if it really happens in real life. You might never know.

Moral of the story: Don't be a biatch towards the one taking your meal orders cos you might end up tasting extra weird delicious spices in it. Unless you're enjoying it then it's okay la. =)

Mr Incredible.

Went to church just now to practise for the worship during the workshops by Planet Shakers. Everything went smoothly, well, sort of.

Before I left church, Fiona's sms beeped my phone ordering me to buy bread home, as instructed by mom.

So I had to head over to 7-11 to get the bread. After paying for it, I went back to the car.
Here comes the 'fun' part.

I grabbed hold of the door. I lifted it up [I admit I didn't do it gently, BUT not roughly either]. Just the normal strength anybody will use to open a car door.
Then the car handle came off. Yes, it literally came off. I was like wth. Grabbing the handle, I hurriedly went into the car and left. I saw 2 malay guys sitting at the staircase enjoying their Ramli burgers staring at me from the corner of my eyes. Malu like anything. Sheesh.

Who actually opens the car door so 'si man' la.
Thinking back now, the incident reminded myself having a slight resemblance as Mr Incredible.
